Experts

Building Project

Below are examples of experts from Aracele Mendoza and Gladys Armenta's pre-k building project. During their project they sent out a survey to families to find building experts, and found three different experts to come and answer their student questions about buildings.

Brick Mason

Painter

Roofer

How does paint stay on the wall?

I wonder how to build a house with bricks.

How do we put bricks together?

I wonder how to connects roofs on houses.

Stuffed Animal Project

Jeanette Rodriguez and Selene Gonzalez had a target employee visit their classroom as an expert to answer their student's questions. Students also talked with another expert during their Build-A-Bear field site visit.

Questions for our guest....

Where do you get the stuffed animals from?

Do you make the stuffed animals at Target?

Do you put the stuffing inside?

¿Tienen peluches pequeños?

Do you give the stuffed animals a name?
